I had an essentially bricked Iphone 7 that seemed impossible for me to retrieve my 1000s of photos/videos off of. After contacting Apple and several other phone repair shops that said nothing could be done to save my files, I found memofix. In less than a month after shipping away my phone they managed to retrieve ALL the photos/videos on the phone. They kept me updated during the whole process and I'm extremely happy with the result of their efforts and their prompt customer service.read more

I called Memofix first thing on a Monday to see if they could get recover my portable hard drive. I had dropped it over the weekend, and it stopped turning on. As a designer, it had ALL of my client files on it. I was very panicked, and concerned they would not be able to be recovered. I also was working on a very tight deadline, with client projects. Bob & the team were not only able to recover 99.9% of my files, but they also did it unbelievably quickly. They were very responsive to calls/emails, and always willing to help. They went above and beyond in every single capacity. The price is well worth it, although it is still not expensive comparatively speaking. 10/10, 100%, overall the BEST. If you're reading this, call them now! Thank you!read more

These guys are fantastic. Great customer service from Bob G! I don't know what average data recovery costs, but you can't put a price on recovering family pictures.

Drive was accidentally overwritten with data and formatted. The backup system we had failed, so we lost our data. Memofix tried various solutions on the drive which took some time but they never gave up. In the end they retrieved the data for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

We approached Memofix for recovery of a large number of files from a personal computer hard drive. Service was easy to arrange (we used the form on their website), personnel were easy to communicate with, and the work was absolutely top quality. All files were recovered, and we got excellent value for money.

I'm an IT specialist and dealing with different computer problems everyday. Recently I needed to recover a physically damaged hard disk and took my drive to Memofix. My drive was recovered in 3 days. I'm extremely satisfied with their service and professionalism. This company is very reliable and they have reasonable pricing not like other recovery firms. I highly recommended.

Awesome customer service! Bob was an absolute delight to deal with. and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us. I lost everything on my hard drive and Memofix was able to recover most of my photos and information. I turned to Memofix after having sent my hard drive to a competitor. The quote from the competitor came back at almost triple the price! This is when I turned to Memofix and not only did they recover most of my information, they reduced the price originally quoted as 100% was not recovered! Once the lab did their recovery work, my hard drive was returned to me quickly and I was so pleased about this. I would highly recommend Memofix! They also have a convenient drop-off location downtown at 150 King Street West.read more

WOW. What an experience!! Memofix is truly unlike other companies in the way they do business. They were able to recover all my data in 24 hours. I don't know anything about data recovery and the process of how to fix hard drives but Bob made sure to walk me through every step of their proceedings, detailing exactly the kind of work that they will take on. This helped in understanding the rate that was quoted, which was free of charge - unlike so many other companies that are willing to take advantage of young inexperienced customers! This is the only place to go if you have damaged hard drives since they have the lab on site, it ensures timely service (they don't send off your drive to various undisclosed locations like many of the competitors). Communication was excellent and diligence was impeccable during a time when stress levels were high, it really made all the difference.read more

I recently had the misfortune of having all my Data erased from my Hard Drive. I called several computer experts who tried but were unsuccessful. Finally in desperation I turned to my last attempt at recovery. I called Memofix and in a week I had all my data restored. Imagine my relief. I was walking on air. I strongly recommend anyone with a similar problem, to try them FIRST.

Where do i start... well. I had purchased a new harddrive online of which is used as a backup. In middle of transferring data, both harddrive failed. With ticking noise the chances of things being fixed as I was told was slim by many companies. Now I talked to Bob and David over the phone and they were very informative about the process and the cost. A TRUSTED LAB. I waited about 6 months until i pulled the trigger and went with it. -now the initial quote was actually 1400-1600 however the final cost was even lower than that! Not only did they recover my data but 99% of it despite being told a lot of my files were difficult to read. The ones that weren't recoverable was still able to open but possibly slightly corrupted. To me it wasnt a huge deal as I already had a backup of those. I had personal and business information and trusted no other than Memofix. to wrap it up, they shipped it earlier than I thought before I was away from the city for a reasonable price. I may even have my 10 year old SD card recovered next =] THANKS AGAIN! -Steven T.read more

Absolutely the best! 100% professional! The other day I plugged in my external HD only to find it not working. 10 years worth of personal photos potentially gone. I called Memofix and Bob returned my call promptly, explaining how they could help. They even had a free courier service to come pick up the HD from me since I was at work and not able to make it to Vaughan. They were in touch multiple times throughout the process with quotes, advice, progress, and eventually the successful finished product, which they also shipped to me. I even bought a 4TB HD from them where they put the files onto, at a very reasonable price. Overall I was super impressed with the thorough, conscientious, and professional service I received. I couldn't put a price on all those photos so I am thankful they were able to help me. Would recommend!read more

My hard drive stopped working. I tried to fix it myself which was a big mistake. I brought it to Memofix, they assessed the drive and gave me a quote. They have worked on the hard drive for a few days, but unfortunately were not able to recover any data. Therefore the service was at no charge. The costumer service is great, Bob is very polite, professional and quick to respond. They have a very unique service. If you have any issue with your memory hardware, please don't try to fix it yourself.read more
